Education Requirements:
Both architects
and interior designers are required to complete during
each biennium prior to the license renewal date, 20
hours of educational instruction or training in subjects
or courses approved by the Board. A minimum of 16 hours
must be in technical and professional subjects related
to safeguarding life, health, property and promoting
the public welfare. Our seminars are not listed as
Health, Safety, Welfare programs.

Education
Many national, state and local licensing boards and
professional organizations will grant Continuing Education
credit for attendance at our workshops when you submit
your Certificate of Attendance and/or your Letter of
Verification. You may want to contact your own board
or organization to find out what is required.

Treasury regulation 1.162-5 Coughlin vs. Commissioner
203.F2d.307 states that certain education-related expenses,
including registration fees, travel, meals, and lodging,
are tax deductible if incurred to maintain or improve
professional skills.
